What is zippi?

zippi (zPaper Integration Partner Programmatic Interface) is the proprietary REST-based API that serves as the integration layer for the zPaper Document Automation system. It's not something customers interact with directly, but it's the technical infrastructure that makes FastPass, Sprkz, and our entire document automation platform work.
Every fax sent, every document indexed, every automation rule triggered, Zippi is working behind the scenes to make it happen.

What zippi Powers

Complete Document Lifecycle Management

Provides programmatic access to search, create, update, and delete documents, templates, configuration settings, action rules, and user/group management across the system.

Intelligent Communication Processing

Processes inbound and outbound fax and email by invoking action rules, sending bundled documents via Jobs, managing triage events (Index, Ignore, Attach, Complete), providing intelligent OCR via AutoDrive, and routing documents using 1D and 2D barcode recognition.

Seamless Salesforce Integration

Enables two-way synchronization with Salesforce CRM, including sObject creation and updates from zPaper Documents (Tasks, Cases, zStacks, etc.), zSend file delivery to fax and email destinations, and zDocSet component view of attached documents stored in zPaper.
